Statement on Square Babel
The project is in a form of a spatial compositions between sculpture and architecture. It is a monumental structure open to the viewer in both the physical and mental interaction. The Square Babel works as the outer form, that we perceive at first contact with the object but also conceals an intriguing interior. Only once inside we discover incredible composition spiral, rising to the top. The discovery of the interior of the tower is quite mystical. Number of planes seems endless as the number of floors climbing towards the top of the biblical tower of babel and the number of languages used by the mythical builders. The curved planes like a kaleidoscope changing uniform image in the space of many possibilities. Multiplied picture of the tower strongly acts, winds spiral of imagination.
